In addition to being an adjunct faculty member at Drexel University, Abhishek is a healthcare and life sciences consultant with extensive clinical project management and product development experience within the eClinical software and study start-up space. Having made full use of the co-op program while attending Drexel University’s College of Engineering, with internships at Document Solutions Group (DSG), Stryker Orthobiologics (Orthovita), and PharmaSecure, he re-joined DSG upon graduating. During that time with DSG, he worked on several dozen clinical trials across several domains, specializing in global phase 2/3 oncology and dermatology programs, as well as serving as a practice lead for a new software enablement division.

After DSG, Abishek spent time with ThoughtSphere, a clinical data aggregation software firm. There, he served as a consulting director for their business development and marketing teams, in addition to being significantly involved in their GDPR compliance efforts. Most recently, he has been consulting for a variety of eClinical and life science companies, assisting them in their clinical trial start-up procedures. Coming back to Drexel and being able to work with students searching for their true calling is very exciting for him, and he’s ready to help prepare the next generation of Dragons for the future!
