Academic Class Room

At Drexel, our dynamic curriculum is specifically designed to take you beyond the typical college experience, uniquely preparing you to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. Here, your education will combine advanced academics with experiential learning, providing the opportunity to build upon your classwork as you work side by side with your professors, gain valuable experience in research, and learn directly from the leaders of your field through our cooperative education program.

And the best part is that you won’t have to wait to get started. You’ll take classes in your major from the moment you arrive, along with preparatory courses such as University 101, COOP 101, and CIVIC 101 to help you hit the ground running. Take a peek into the Academic Programs we offer here at Drexel.

Common University Courses

UNIV 101, COOP 101, and CIVC 101 — These common university courses work to support the first-year student learning outcomes and goals. While not all first-year students will take all of these courses in their plan of study, the courses you do have will work to support the first-year learning objectives.
