Robert Field, JD, PhD, a professor emeritus in the Kline School of Law and Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in a Sept. 21 Philadelphia Inquirer article about how privacy laws affect the way Pennsylvania’s measles deaths are reported.

“Confidentiality and privacy are major issues for any health department, which is why the regulations are stricter,” he said.
