Drexel Study Finds Link Between Structural Racism and Higher Premature Mortality Rates

Jaquelyn Jahn, PhD, an assistant professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in an Oct. 4 WHYY article about leading a study on the impact that state laws that perpetuate structural racism and health inequity have on high premature mortality rates. This new research was mentioned in an Oct. 5 Black Information Network segment and a Philadelphia Tribune story as well.
