Mariana Chilton, PhD, a professor and director of the Center for Hunger-Free Communities at the Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in an Aug. 13 article in The Philadelphia Inquirer, which also ran on and in the Miami Herald and The Columbian (Vancouver, Washington), about the failures of the cash assistance program known as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
