Marla Gold, MD, senior vice provost for Community Health and Chief Wellness Officer at Drexel and dean emerita of the Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in an Aug. 13 Philadelphia Inquirer story about city officials announcing that employees of Philadelphia’s higher education and health care systems must be vaccinated by mid-October, or wear two masks while indoors, practice social distancing and get COVID tested once a week. Gold is a member of the city’s board of health. The Philly Voice also reported the story.
