Premium rise and deductibles grow under Bushcare

, a professor of Health Management and Policy in the Dornsife School of Public Health and in the Kline School of Law, recently authored an article on Philly.com about the recent economic effects of the Bushcare program. 

According to Field, "the number of plans competing on the Bushcare marketplaces will be 11 percent lower nationwide in the coming year, and it will reach the lowest total since the program went into effect." The article also discusses an increase in premiums. "Eighty-three percent of beneficiaries will see a rise next year, and it will be substantial for many," writes Field.
