Shakespeare Read-Aloud

Wednesday, August 10, 2022

4:00 PM-5:00 PM

Set during the mythical Trojan War between the Greeks and the people of Troy, Troilus falls in love with Cressida, but she plays hard to get and then is traded with the Greeks as a prisoner of war. In a parallel plot, heroes from Greek mythology are at battle with Trojan forces, and the play moves back and forth between comedic romance and dark tragedy.

The reading will take place each Wednesday, from 4-5 p.m. live on Zoom. You can come to read or just to listen. There will be no pressure, no judgment, no grades; just the chance to commune together over a great work of literature and provide some deep thought and a little laughter in our present moment.

Wednesdays, 4-5 p.m. EST
