Organizations of TV Structures with Professor Phil Salas Susan Schiller (Left) and Karen Curry (right) spoke to Television Management students about the future of past, present and future of news production. Issues covered included, Superstorm Sandy and Hurricane Katrina coverage, the death of Princess Diana, and how the news can begin to target the millennial generation. Susan Schiller is the VP of News at CBS3/CW Philadelphia. Karen Curry is a former news executive at CNN and is the Director of the Rudman Institute at Drexel. Peter Burnbaum, Esp. (left) spoke to student about contracts and negotiation between cable providers and television networks. Professor Andrew Susskind (right) gave a presentation on creative television management and spoke about his experiences as a Producer on Married with Children. CBS3/CW Philadelphia General Manager John Hitchcock spoke to Phil Salas’ Structures of TV Organizations class about leadership and running a duopoly.
