Marketing Campaign Process
The completion of this request form is not a guarantee that University Communications will be able to facilitate this project. The Marketing Group will review your request and respond within five business days.
Timelines are dependent on the outcome of the initial conversation and the steps necessary to finalize the plan and move forward.
*Please note: Marketing campaigns are great for generating leads or rsvp's for an event, but we cannot guarantee applications or other conversions.

Do your research and answer the following questions:
- Who are you trying to reach?
- What is your message?
- How are you different than your competitors?
- What is your approved budget?
Step By Step
The Marketing Request Form cannot be submitted without all of the details. Here is a step-by-step review of our process:
- Client (college/school Point of Contact ) submits the Marketing Request Form.
- Kick-off meeting with Client, University Communications, Enrollment Management and Grad Admissions to walk through all of the details in the Marketing Request Form.
- If any changes need to be made to the Marketing Request Form based on kick-off meeting, client will update the form and send the final version back to University Communications.
- University Communications will send the final Marketing Request Form to agency of record who will then start their research process. Depending on the spend, agency will need at least three weeks to put together a media plan.
- Agency will present the recommended media plan to client and University Communications via conference call for review and approval.
- If approved, agency will send creative specs, due dates, and PO quote. The client will submit PO quote to generate the PO # that all invoices can be billed to.
- Creative assets will need to be designed for a marketing campaign and delivered to LevLane a minimum of seven business days prior to the campaign launch. Do you have these available already? If not, how do you plan to create these assets? Please reach out to University Communications with questions.
- Marketing landing pages are used to drive increased RMIs. Our Web Support Team within University Communications will create the marketing landing page, but the client will be responsible for copy and imagery. Once the landing page has been created, the client will test landing pages to ensure the forms are working properly and RMI information is received. Web Support will need a minimum of three weeks to build and test the landing pages.
- The client will be responsible for creating a traffic log that will be sent to University Communications, along with the final creative. A traffic log is used to track creative in a marketing campaign. The client will be responsible for filling out the Drexel portion of the traffic log. Once complete, the client will send the traffic log, along with the final creative to University Communications. LevLane will be responsible for building out the tracking URLs in the last column.
- University Communications will review and send the traffic log and all creative to the agency.
- The agency will send confirmation once the campaign has launched, along with screenshots of live creative.
- Depending on the length of the campaign, an interim report will be sent to the client every six weeks of activity to show campaign performance. After the campaign is complete, our agency will setup a call with the client and University Communications to walk through the final campaign performance report.
