Interfraternity Council (IFC)

IFC is an umbrella organization governing men's fraternities at Drexel University and exists to foster, develop, and promote the shared ideals of its member chapters.

Panhellenic Council (PHC)

The purpose of the Panhellenic Council is to develop and maintain sorority life and inter-sorority relations among women's chapters of the National Panhellenic Conference at a high level of accomplishment.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

The National Pan-Hellenic Council is a collaborative umbrella council composed of historically African American fraternities and sororities, commonly called the Divine Nine, and also referred to as Black Greek Letter Organizations. The purpose of the NPHC shall be to foster cooperative actions of its members in dealing with matters of mutual concern. Thus, NPHC promotes the well-being of its affiliate fraternities and sororities.

Order of Omega, Eta Theta Chapter

The purpose of Order of Omega is to recognize those fraternity men and sorority women who have attained a high standard of leadership in interfraternity activities, to encourage them to continue along this line, and to inspire others to strive for similar conspicuous attainment; to unite outstanding fraternity men and women to create an organization that will help to mold the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate fraternity affairs; to bring together members of the faculty, alumni, and student members of the institution's fraternities and sororities on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness; and to help create an atmosphere where ideas and issues can be discussed openly across Greek lines and to help work out solutions.

Unrecognized Organizations

The following organizations are not recognized by Drexel University for various reasons. There may be Student Conduct consequences for students who attempt to join or maintain activity with the following organizations:

  • Phi Mu (2020) [PHC Sorority]
  • Pi Alpha Phi (2019) [MGC Fraternity]
  • Sigma Sigma Sigma (2019) [PHC Sorority]
