The University Research Computing Facility (URCF) Board is seeking nominations for one (1) Faculty Board position and two (2) Faculty Alternate Board positions. The URCF Board is responsible for all policies pertaining to the use of the URCF and its strategic direction. A Faculty Alternate is a non-voting member who fully participates in all Board activities.

The URCF Board was established in 2012, and the facility officially launched in 2013. This facility is a 1600 sq. ft. data center in Curtis 358 and houses Picotte, the University’s shared compute cluster that any Drexel faculty or student can access.

To submit nominations, please send a brief statement of qualifications and/or interest along with a CV to Geoffrey Mainland (mainland@drexel.edu). Please send nominations no later than Tuesday, July 5th.
