Now Live! DragonSPOT Lab Animals & Animal Facility Management
The Office of Research & Innovation is pleased to announce the initial rollout launch of DragonSPOT Lab Animals and Animal Facility Management. DragonSPOT (Sponsored Programs Online Tracking), Drexel’s new research administration management system, is a cloud-based, integrated research administration management system that will replace COEUS and other related manual processes and is available to research community faculty, staff, and students. 
Social Sciences and Humanities Research Upcoming Zoom Events
The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Committee, sponsored by the Office of Research and Innovation, is pleased to announce the following two Zoom events: (1) “Pitfalls of Using Big Data in Social Science Research” (April 30, 2021) (2) “Writing Retreat: Using Evidence and Writing from Data” (April 23, 2021 – rescheduled event).

Craig Johnson promoted to Operation Director of Research Core Facilities
It is our pleasure to announce that Craig Johnson, Ph.D. has been promoted to Operations Director of Research Core Facilities in the Office of Research and Innovation, effective February 1, 2021.
Carolyn Reneski promoted to Asst. Director of Regulatory Compliance
Carolyn Reneski has been promoted to the new Assistant Director of Regulatory Compliance. Carolyn has been a member of the Office of Research & Innovation for 4 years. She was initially hired as the Post Approval Monitor for the Institutional Animal Care and Use (IACUC) Committee and with supportive guidance from IACUC and ORI leadership, was promoted to the position of IACUC Administrator in 2018. In addition to overseeing IACUC administration, Carolyn also assisted with the Calhoun fire renovation efforts and has been serving in a critical role managing and overseeing Research Ramp Up processes.
