Students Honored and Recognized for Leadership Skills

A number of the school's students have been recognized for their leadership skills and awarded Third Circuit Lieutenant Governor positions in the American Bar Association's (ABA) law student division.  The ABA's Law Student Division addresses legal education issues.  The school's students will be addressing advocacy, membership, recruiting and networking issues. 

Matt Marnien, a 2L, will be responsible for coordinating ABA Law Student Division affairs in Philadelphia and Delaware while Rachel Kelley, a 2L, will be responsible for recruiting efforts in the area and will be actively seeking ways to get students involved in Law Student Division activities. 

Similarly, Joe Zeidner, a 2L, will be reaching out to student organizations at Philadelphia and Delaware schools to notify them of pertinent meetings/networking events.  3L, Dorcas Adekunle will be responsible for encouraging and coordinating the submission of resolutions presented for consideration at the ABA Annual Meeting and the ABA Law Student Division Board of Governors meetings.

In addition, the ABA selected 3L Jazamine Stallings to be the ABA Law Student Division liaison to the Center on Children and the Law.

Locally, the Philadelphia Bar Association honored Elisa Kim with a Diversity Scholarship on June 14.
