Sakhile Shabangu is a social worker from Eswatini. He is a co-founder and director of a recently established non-profit organization called Edupression Suicide Prevention Services, which promotes suicide prevention in Eswatini. He is also a social welfare and social protection enthusiast. Sakhile currently works as a monitoring and evaluation officer for the Women and Law in Southern Africa Research and Education Trust-Eswatini, an organization that deals with women's rights advocacy. As a social work professional, Sakhile's knowledge spans grant writing, advocacy, lobbying, social policy analysis, and implementation. Upon completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, he plans to apply his new skills and networks to enhance his organization's impact.
