Internal Funding

Charles Imbesi Travel Fund

The Charles Imbesi Travel Fund was established in 2013 by Charles Imbesi, a graduate of Drexel’s Global and International Education program, after he completed a 3-credit study tour in China with Drexel faculty and students. The Fund shall be used to provide financial support for travel to China for educational purposes in the form of payment of required travel expenses of students with demonstrated financial need. Although the intent of the fund is to support travel to China required as part of the graduate 10-day travel requirement for coursework within the MS in Global and International Education, requests to use the fund for alternative educational experiences in China will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Priority will be given to Drexel School of Education students.

Visit the Charles Imbesi Travel Fund Spotlight to read about recent award winners.

The following materials are required for application:

  1. Essay explaining your plans to use the fund
