Welcome Week

Welcome New Dragons! We are so excited that you have decided to join the Drexel community. Your time with us will begin with Welcome Week, Drexel's new student orientation event, which begins on Saturday, September 12 and continues through Sunday, September 20, with classes officially beginning on the following day. This celebratory and informative event will give all new Dragons, including both first-year and transfer students, the opportunity to be together for a full week before diving into classes.

Welcome Week provides you with hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of events and activities to choose from, to help you find your home here at Drexel. You will have the chance to meet faculty, staff, and current students during the week-long orientation, as well as learn the ins and outs of Drexel and the city of Philadelphia. We look forward to seeing you in September!

Welcome Week festivities will begin with Move-In Weekend, when students living in the residence halls will start to move in and set up their rooms. There will then be a full schedule of fun activities over the course of the following week designed to introduce everyone to the campus, fellow classmates, and the city of Philadelphia. Make sure to stop by the Resource Fair to get your FREE Welcome Week t-shirt. Additionally, all new undergraduate students are required to pick up their Welcome Week wristband during Move-In Weekend in order to eat at any of Drexel's dining facilities throughout the week. All resident students can pick up their wristbands at the front desk of their residence hall and transfer students should receive their wristbands during Commuter and Transfer Welcome Day. Throughout Move-In Weekend, students can also receive their wristbands at the Resource Fair. And afterwards, wristbands will be available for pick-up in the Main 220 student lounge.
