Welcome Week

Welcome new Dragons! We are so excited that you have decided to join the Drexel community.
Drexel's Welcome Week: The Next Chapter
Welcome Week at Drexel University marks the beginning of an exciting time in every Dragon’s journey, as they officially become part of the Drexel family! This fun-filled week is more than just orientation — Welcome Week gives all New Dragons the opportunity to move-in early; begin to get adjusted to college life; and get to know each other, Drexel's campus, and the great city of Philadelphia all before starting classes.

Your time with us will begin with Welcome Week, Drexel's new student orientation event, which begins on Monday, September 16 and continues until Sunday, September 22, with classes officially beginning on Monday, September 23. This celebratory and informative event will give all New Dragons, including both first-year and transfer students, the opportunity to be together for a full week before diving into classes.

Welcome Week provides you with hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of events and activities to choose from to help you settle into new your home here at Drexel. While we follow health and safety recommendations, you will still have the chance to meet faculty, professional staff, and current students during the week-long orientation, as well as learn the ins and outs of Drexel and the city of Philadelphia. We look forward to seeing you in September!

Welcome Week festivities will begin with our Move-In Weekend, on Saturday, September 14 through Sunday, September 15, when students living in the residence halls will start to move in and set up their rooms. Then, there will then be a full schedule of both virtual and in-person activities over the course of the following week designed to introduce everyone to the campus, fellow classmates, and the city of Philadelphia.

Are you a commuter or transfer student? There is a special session being held just for you. Be sure to download the DrexelOne Mobile app and add the Commuter and Transfer Welcome Event to your schedule!

To register for Welcome Week, log in to DrexelOne and follow the registration prompts.
