Domestic water will be shut off in the following buildings on the following schedule to perform city required testing of the backflow preventor.

Buildings with a "bypass" note will be testing a secondary unit and are not expected to lose water service during the shutdown time.

UPDATE: This Scheduled Power Outage is being postponed by PECO due to an emergency repair that has to be made at another location. This posting will be updated once a new date and time are confirmed. -----Original posting----- In support of the SEPTA station renovation at 34th & Market, a 6-hour power outage is required to accommodate ongoing infrastructure work. Beginning around 10:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2026, power will be shut down to Hagerty Library (15), Kline Law School Building (90), and the General Services Building (16) for approximately six hours. The buildings will be closed during this outage so please plan accordingly. Building backup generators are expected to operate during this period to provide emergency lighting.
