19th and Arch Shuttle Stop Relocated to 19th and JFK
The Dragon Route (Center City Loop) bus stop at 19th and Arch streets has been permanently relocated to the northeast corner of 19th Street and JFK Boulevard, next to Old Nelson Food Company.
Traffic Advisory: Market Street Projects
Due to PennDOT’s four-year Market Street Bridges Rehabilitation Project, lane closures are expected along Market Street in University City, causing extra traffic and delays in the area, including on the Drexel bus service’s Dragon Route. For complete information, visit PennDOT's project website. In addition, PECO is conducting utility work along Market Street between 30th Street and JFK Boulevard during the summer months. Use caution and follow posted signage about any detours in the area.
Drexel University provides shuttle bus transportation across the University City, Center City and Queen Lane campuses. Students, faculty and professional staff are permitted unlimited use of this service at no charge. The bus service includes three fixed routes (Powelton/Spring Garden, Dragon and Queen Lane) and operates Monday through Friday (as well as Saturday and Sunday for Powelton/Spring Garden only).
Upon boarding Drexel’s shuttles, you must present your DragonCard and tap it on the blue card reader at the front of the bus; the card readers provide route utilization statistics that help identify problems and allow more efficient delivery of shuttle service. As a reminder, drivers may only pick up and drop off at designated bus stops.
