Too Many Pennsylvania Workers Lack Paid Medical Leave

Alina Schnake-Mahl, ScD, MPH, an assistant professor in the Urban Health Collaborative and the Department of Health Management and Policy at the Dornsife School of Public Health, wrote a guest editorial published May 6 in PennLive that urged Pennsylvania legislators to advance a proposed paid family and medical leave bill.

Dr. Schnake-Mahl's research has highlighted the need for policymakers to support paid sick leave policies.
