Community Fridges Arise From Pandemic to Address Hunger in Philly

The Center for Hunger-Free Communities at the Dornsife School of Public Health was mentioned in a Jan. 17 commentary that ran in Lancaster Online and Northcentralpa.com, about work by local food banks to address food insecurity and how that work follows calls by the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. to reduce poverty. The Center was also mentioned in a Jan. 15 Philly Voice article about use of community fridges to reduce food insecurity in Philadelphia.
