Joseph Amon, PhD, a professor and director of the Office of Global Health at the Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in a March 2 National Journal article about a controversial order known as Title 42, which was issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at the beginning of the pandemic to restrict migrants crossing the border into the United States as a way to limit the spread of COVID-19 into the country.
