Sharrelle Barber, ScD, an assistant research professor at the Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in a May 9 South Florida Sun Sentinel article, which also ran May 9 on MSN News, the Sacramento Bee, Tampa Bay Times, and other news outlets nationwide, about lack of access to COVID-19 testing in minority communities in Florida. Barber was also quoted in a May 9 Minnestoa Spokesman-Recorder article about the pandemic exposing the deadly impact of racial disparities.
