School of Public Health Associate Professor Authors Book Review

September 11, 2015

Michael Yudell, PhD, an associate professor and interim chair of the Department of Community Health and Prevention in the School of Public Health, authored a September 10 Philadelphia Inquirer book review about Neurotribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity.

Of the book, Yudell writes, "It offers important insight into how autism came to be the condition it is today. Part medical history, part treatise on the nature of neurodiversity, the book is an engaging and thought provoking read. If you want to learn more about the history of autism, Neurotribes is the place to start."
