John Rich, PhD, a professor of Health Management and Policy in the Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in a Philadelphia Inquirer story about MacArthur Foundation grants.

Rich, a 2006 winner of the grant, says "it shines a light on your work in a way few other fellowships do. The award itself is far more than the financial resources. It is the opportunity to have a greater voice."
