Fee Information
FEE STRUCTURE
The WELL Clinic at Drexel University proudly offers a tiered fee schedule that makes treatment more accessible by providing clients with lower-cost options. Clinic staff have specialized expertise in providing evidence-based treatment and are closely supervised to ensure that we are meeting our client's needs.
INSURANCE AND SELF-PAY INFORMATION
We accept all Aetna insurances (except Aetna Medicare). If you are covered by Aetna, you will need to pay your Aetna deductible and copay at the time of the appointment.
If you do not have Aetna, you will need to pay in full for your session at the time of the appointment. We are happy to provide the necessary documentation (e.g., superbills) to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Before completing an evaluation or beginning treatment at the WELL Clinic, you should verify coverage and out-of-pocket costs with your insurance carrier by providing them with the following information:
- WELL Clinic Tax ID: 23-1352630
- WELL Clinic NPI: 1447748801
- Evaluation Procedural Code: 90791
- Follow-up Procedural Code: 90837
Please note that reimbursement is often only available through insurance companies for Senior Clinicians and Clinicians (see below).
You will have access to the patient portal through your TherapyNotes (the clinic’s electronic medical record system), which contains the clinician's name, license, NPI numbers, diagnosis, level of service, and codes required for claim submission if needed.
FEE TIERS
Senior Clinicians
$200 per 60-minute session; intakes last 90 minutes and are charged accordingly at $260.
Clinicians
Clinical Postdoctoral Fellows
$100 per 60-minute session and $125 for a 90-minute intake assessment. Clinical postdoctoral fellows are recent recipients of a doctoral degree with advanced clinical skills in providing evidence-based treatments for eating and weight disorders. Because postdoctoral fellows do not hold a professional license, their services may not be reimbursed by insurance.
PAYMENT POLICIES
- Payments for the initial evaluation and any treatment sessions are due at the time that services are rendered.
- If a session balance has been unpaid, we are unable to schedule another session until the balance is resolved.
- Additionally, if an initial evaluation or treatment session is missed or canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be charged the session fee.
