PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The theoretical and practical realms of various simulation techniques are presented as well as a review of the competencies for educators working in simulation. Strategies and challenges with simulation will also be presented.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Nurses, Physicians, PAs, Simulation Lab Directors, and other educators involved in simulation.

$199 Tuition Includes:

Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellations will require a $50 cancellation fee, no exceptions.

Accreditation
Outcome
To enable the nurse or other health professional to increase knowledge on the content for the certification exam demonstrated by 80% or more of the participants responding positively to the open ended knowledge question on the evaluation.
Contact Hours:
8.25 Continuing Nursing Education contact hours will be provided.
You must attend the entire program to receive credit.
Accreditation
Drexel University (DREXEL) College of Nursing and Health Professions, Division of Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP13661 for 8.25 contact hours.
Requirements for Successful Completion (Criteria for Awarding Contact Hours)
All participants must register before the program, attend the program in its entirety and complete the evaluation by the deadline.
Standards for Integrity and Independence
The provider will collect information from all individuals in a position to control content regarding financial relationships with ineligible companies, analyze the data for relevant financial relationships related to the educational content; and mitigate relevant financial relationships. The results of this analysis will be reported in the course presentation materials.
