PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This training provides comprehensive skill review and recitation of the clinical skills required for sexual assault nurse examination of the adult and adolescent patient. This program reviews clinical forensic documentation, trauma-informed patient engagement, head-to-toe examination for evidence collection and injury documentation, focused pelvic examination techniques with speculum insertion, special clinical forensic tools for documentation and evidence collection, and patient-centered considerations for continuity of care following discharge from the clinical forensic setting.

New to practice sexual assault nurse examiners and currently practicing sexual assault nurse examiners seeking a comprehensive skill review
