This program will provide the essential information a nurse educator needs to incorporate simulation into the academic curriculum or healthcare setting. Simulation case development and implementation techniques for both the Human Patient Simulator and Standardized Patients will be presented. Debriefing techniques and moulage are also included.

Outcome: To enable the nurse and other health professionals to increase knowledge on simulation and debriefing techniques

Target Audience: Registered Nurses, Simulation Specialists, Academic Nurse Educators, Education Specialists, Staff Development Educators and Health Professionals interested in simulation.

Overall Program Objective: Discuss an overview of simulation techniques, debriefing techniques, and moulage techniques.

Contact hours: 16.5 Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hours will be provided. You must attend the entire program to receive credit.
