Registration is now open for the graduate-level course ISTM 511: Foundations in Evidence-Based STEM Pedagogy

Winter Quarter 22-23
Tuesdays from 4:00 - 6:50 PM

The course is taught by Eric Brewe, Associate Professor in Physics and Science Education

Course attendees will:

  • Engage as members of a community of discipline-based education research (DBER)
  • Enact their skills at putting theory and experimental work into practice (in real educational
    settings)
  • Establish a teaching philosophy
  • Provided constructive criticism of STEM instruction
