High School scholarships: Music Industry Summer Program

Thanks to generous support from the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation, five high school students will receive full scholarships to attend our Music Industry High School Summer Program this year. The intensive commuter program, which takes place July 10 -15, is designed for high school students who are serious about getting a head start on understanding the basics of the competitive and fast-paced music industry. Five WJSFF Music Industry Summer Program scholarships will be awarded to exceptional high school students who demonstrate economic need. Students must be entering their junior or senior year in high school and supply a transcript demonstrating a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, and a 300-word personal statement and a letter of recommendation in addition to filling out a simple form detailing family income and expenses.

All students accepted into the summer program will receive college level instruction from highly accomplished faculty, and participate in hands-on experiences in our state-of-the-art recording facilities.
