Drexel Pilates Training Program
The Drexel Pilates Training Program delivers the full classical Pilates repertoire through a contemporary lens grounded in clear biomechanics, sound pedagogy, dedication, and rigor. This 450-hour comprehensive program guides a cohort of Apprentices through a structured, one-year training cycle.
The year is divided into three progressive modules: mat work in the fall, mixed equipment in the winter, and reformer in the spring. Each module consists of immersive training weekends, weekly practice and study hours, and thorough evaluations, including written, performance-based, and pedagogy assessments.
Throughout the program, Apprentices receive extensive hands-on experience both as practitioners and as teachers. Our objective is to cultivate passionate, knowledgeable Pilates educators who demonstrate a high level of integration in their own practice and teach with confidence, clarity, and safety.
The program is founded and directed by Jennifer Morley and supported by Leadership Team members Jessica Kroboth and Sera Arefaine, along with the experienced instructors of Drexel Pilates Studio.
It is strongly suggested to have a minimum of 30 hours of Pilates practice prior to participating in our Drexel Pilates Training Program. The Drexel Pilates Training Program can consist of two phases: Apprentice 1 and Apprentice 2.
An Apprentice 1 is someone strongly interested in pursuing the Drexel Pilates Training Program and serves as a practice and test client for Apprentice 2s.
An Apprentice 2 is someone in the 450-hour Teacher Training Program.
The 2026-2027 Drexel Pilates Training Program will begin September 2026 and run through June 2027. If you are interested in the 2026-2027 Drexel Pilates Training Program, the application will open here on March 1, 2026.
