We are currently reimagining the curriculum for our Urban Strategy program to better meet the evolving needs of our students and communities. As a result, we are not enrolling new students for the 2025/2026 academic year at this time.

The Lindy Urban Innovation Scholarship

The Lindy Urban Innovation Scholarship is an annual scholarship, awarded to four Urban Strategy Graduate (Master of Science) students each year who demonstrate academic excellence and a passion to address complex urban problems through innovative solutions. 

Eligibility & Requirements:

• First submit a completed application for admission into the Master’s Program in Urban Strategy at Drexel University’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.Only students with completed applications for admission into the program can apply for the scholarship. (we are not accepting applications at this time)
• Must be enrolling as a full-time or part-time in the Urban Strategy program.
• Have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Submit the scholarship application by April 1^st for consideration.

Selection:

Four (4) students will be selected to each receive one lifetime scholarship in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000). 

Important Notes: 

Students who are awarded the scholarship must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher to continue to receive the scholarship.   

This scholarship cannot be combined with other Drexel University scholarships or awards including, but not limited to, the Dean’s Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship, Assistantships, etc. 

Scholarship Essay Prompt (500 words):

Name one complex problem or challenge you see facing urban communities, why it matters to you, and discuss some innovative solutions that could help address the challenge.
