Drexel University School of Education once again ranks first among all Philadelphia-based institutions for best online master’s in education programs according to the 2022 rankings from U.S. News and World Report. Overall, Drexel ranks 60th in the nation and 3rd in Pennsylvania in the latest rankings.

“We are very proud of our work to offer quality online education programs for our students,” said Penny, Hammrich, PhD, Dean and Distinguished University Professor for Drexel University’s School of Education. “We strive every day to prepare our students to become leaders in their classrooms and make lasting impacts in their field of study.”

The School of Education offers 16 master’s programs in education ranging from Applied Behavior Analysis to Sport Coaching Leadership. SOE also offers teacher certification through its MS in Teaching, Learning and Curriculum program with certification available in elementary, middle level, and secondary subjects.

Drexel is recognized as an industry leader in online education. The university first offered online courses over 25 years ago and has received several awards for its online programs including the Sloan-C Award for Excellence in Institution-Wide Online Education.

The School of Education recently received accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation for demonstrating excellence in its teacher education programs.
