School of Education Marketing Team Earns Silver CUPPIE for Train Card Campaign

The School of Education was recently awarded a silver CUPPIE for their Train Card Campaign. The CUPPIES are sponsored by CUPRAP (the Association of Communicators in Education) and will be awarded during a ceremony on March 13 in Hershey, Pa.
The advertising campaign that ran in spring 2013, and appeared in trains along the Northeast Corridor from New York City to Washington, D.C. Ads were placed on Amtrak (including Acela), SEPTA, and NJ Transit trains and in train stations and stops. The campaign’s tagline was “Local. Global. Real.” and featured four stories of students taking their Drexel education to unprecedented areas.
Each ad featured a “teaser” message in one of four categories corresponding to the School of Education’s mission and vision: Real World, Local/Global, Leadership, and Research. Each ad contained a unique URL that linked to the complete story featured in the ad.
