School of Education Hosts Event on Higher Education Reform at Drexel D.C. Office

The School of Education hosted a discussion on higher education reform on September 9, featuring Andrew Kelly as the speaker. Kelly is the director of the American Enterprise Institute’s new Center for Higher Education Reform. The event was at Drexel’s Washington, D.C. Office, and was co-hosted by the Higher Education Group of DC (HEG). During the discussion, Kelly spoke about the Center’s mission and initiatives.
The Higher Education Group is a network of professionals in the D.C. area who are involved in, or who have professional and academic interests relating to, higher education and includes individuals from organizations like the National Science Foundation, AERA, American Council on Education, the U.S. Department of Education, National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Educational Testing Service.
Bruce Levine, assistant clinical professor of education and director of Drexel’s Education Policy program, is a member of the Higher Education Group Planning Committee.
