Five finalist startup founders pitched for $150,000 equity investments as part of the second cohort of The Drexel University Innovation Fund (DUIF). DUIF launched in 2023 and has announced investments in two Drexel-affiliated startups to-date. In preparation for this second cohort, the Innovation Fund operations team received 22 applications from candidate startups, student enrollment in the integrated course with the Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship increased by 218%, and the Drexel Applied Innovation entrepreneurial community has continued to grow.
