Help Support Our Veterans: Food Pantry Drive Runs Nov. 4-30
Drexel Public Safety, in partnership with Drexel University’s Center for Military and Veteran Services, is excited to announce the launch of our Veterans Food Pantry Drive, running from Nov. 4 through Nov. 30, 2026.
For the past several years, our departments have come together to support military personnel through our annual care package drive. This year, we are bringing our efforts closer to home by supporting the food pantry at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The pantry provides essential food resources to veterans in our community who are experiencing food scarcity. Through this initiative, we are helping to ensure that those who have served our country have access to the nourishment and support they deserve.
How Can You Help?
We invite students, faculty, staff and community members to participate by donating nonperishable food items. Some of the most needed items include:
- Peanut butter
- Jelly
- Canned tuna, salmon, chicken and vegetables
- Canned soups, beans and chili
- Pasta
- Pasta sauce
- Rice
- Cereal
- Crackers
- Granola/protein bars
- Canned fruit, fruit cups and applesauce
- Shelf-stable milk
