Launchpad to STAR

Launchpad to STAR supports student engagement in early undergraduate research. Students are invited to participate in a variety of workshops designed to help them understand what research is and how to get involved. Students can participate in workshops in person or asynchronously. Learn more about the program, eligibility requirements, and how to participate on the Launchpad page on the UREP Sharepoint.

Current Student Mid-Year Application Process

Current Drexel first-year or transfer students can apply for the STAR Scholars Program during the mid-year application process, which opens during the Fall Term and closes in the Winter Term. Current students interested in applying are encouraged to attend a STAR Info Session. Current students with questions about the application can email urep@drexel.edu.

Program Decisions

Applications for the 2025-26 STAR Scholars Program closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 12:00 pm (noon). All applicants will be notified of decisions by the start of Spring Term.
