The Honors Program

Why Drexel Honors?
Being a part of the Honors Program is a unique opportunity for students to enhance their Drexel experience.

The Honors Program offers a space in which students can grow as academics, professionals, and people. Through discussion-based courses, the Honors Program allows students to explore diverse topics and perspectives while meeting faculty and students outside of their majors and academic concentrations. With co-curricular events such as Ticket Tuesday, workshops, and guest speaker events, the Honors Program provides students with unique connections to their peers and their Philadelphia community. The Honors Program also gives students avenues for leadership opportunities and service involvement through programs like Honors Mentors.

Who is a typical Honors Program student?

A typical Honors Program student is inquisitive, thoughtful, and eager to step outside of their comfort zone to learn in a safe and diverse space. While Honors students may vary in major, concentration, and co-op cycle, they all share a dedication to enhancing their education and enriching their academic and community experience. Honors students are lifelong learners who enjoy engaging in cross-disciplinary discourse and co-curricular activities. Honors students also appreciate working alongside a tight knit cohort of students who are equally as engaged.
