Student Emily Haney-Caron has been chosen for a summer internship with the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Haney-Caron, a 2L who is pursuing a joint JD-PhD in Psychology, will be located in the organization’s office in New Orleans, La., helping to improve statewide juvenile justice and child-welfare systems.

Admission to the high-profile civil rights organization's respected internship program is extremely competitive.
