Biography
Phil Pasquarello is the Director of Drexel Kline’s nationally-ranked Trial Advocacy program.
As a trial lawyer, he won over $100 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients.
Professor Pasquarello practices at Kline & Specter, one of the nation’s leading catastrophic personal injury law firms.
His cases involve motor vehicle accidents, defective medical devices and pharmaceuticals, civil rights abuses,
and medical malpractice. Super Lawyers named Professor Pasquarello a Rising Star from 2022 to 2025.
In addition to his law practice, Professor Pasquarello has coached Drexel Kline’s trial teams to multiple
regional and national championships. He has written more than ten trial advocacy case files.
Under Professor Pasquarello’s leadership, Drexel Kline’s Trial Advocacy program has achieved ranks in the
top 10 according to U.S. News & World Report, the GAVEL Rankings, and the Trial Competition Performance Rankings.
Professor Pasquarello is an accomplished alumnus of Drexel Kline Law and its Trial Advocacy Program.
He graduated in the top 10 of his class, earning the distinction of Best Student Performance in Introduction to Trial Advocacy,
Evidence, Advanced Trial Advocacy: Civil, and Criminal Law. As an advocate on Drexel’s Trial Team,
Professor Pasquarello won five tournaments, including back-to-back national championships at the
Tournament of Champions in 2016 and 2017 and Baylor’s Top Gun, earning the distinction of the top
law school trial advocate in the country.
Professor Pasquarello has hosted or co-hosted more than 10 national trial advocacy competitions, including Battle of the Experts, tNational Trial Competition, Student Trial Advocacy Competition, Online National Championship, Trial by Combat, and Gladiator. He has been invited to speak at trial advocacy conferences.
In 2018, the National Institute of Trial Advocacy published a catastrophic injury case file Professor Pasquarello co-authored.
Professor Pasquarello teaches various trial advocacy and evidentiary courses at Drexel Kline.
