Professor Fischer is an expert on data privacy and cybersecurity. She is co-founder and managing partner of XPAN Law Group, LLC, a certified Women's Business Enterprise that focuses on international data privacy, cybersecurity and cross-border data management, with an emphasis on European Union data privacy regulations and the General Data Protection Regulation. She is a frequent presenter at domestic and international conferences. She received her JD, summa cum laude, from the Kline School of Law.
Professor Hoffman is the president and founder of Hoffman & Associates, PC, a national health-care consulting firm dedicated to patient safety through compliance. His previous experience includes prosecuting health care and fraud cases as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and serving as chief counsel to the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. He received his JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Professor Jacobus specializes in ethics and compliance and is senior adviser at the Legal Research Network, which provides shared-cost legal expertise and training for corporate legal departments. Previously, she led ethics, compliance and legal operations at the network innovation leader, Juniper Networks, Inc., where she was senior director and associate general counsel. She received her JD from Santa Clara University School of Law.
MICHELE M. MATHES
Professor Mathes is the development director at the Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly, where she previously directed education and oversaw development of the organization’s long-term care ethics education program. Previously, she was the senior associate at the Center for Ethics and Professionalism of the American College of Physicians. She has published and presented regionally and nationally on issues of health care law and ethics, aging, and conflict resolution. She received her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
