Eric Sando, ’14, was honored at the SeniorLAW Center’s May 17 gala for his pro bono service on behalf of a grandmother who was at risk of losing her home.
An associate at Earp Cohn P.C., Sando was named Volunteer of the Year for successfully representing an elderly client of the SeniorLAW Center on a pro bono basis. Sando represented the woman, Petra Washington, in a complex two-day trial that involved fraudulent deed conveyance and other issues, obtaining successful verdicts that saved her home.
Sando previously worked for the SeniorLAW Center as a Public Service Fellow but has continued providing pro bono service since joining Earp Cohn in 2015, where his practice focuses on commercial, insurance, employment and warranty litigation.
He served as an associate editor of the Drexel Law Review and graduated summa cum laude.
