Professor Emily Zimmerman will discuss differences in student learning and motivation at a workshop for new law professors hosted by the Association of American Law Schools in Washington on June 19.
Zimmerman is an authority on the subject of student motivation and engagement, having conducted empirical research on the law student experience that has appeared in Rutgers Law Journal, Seattle University Law Review and DePaul Law Review. She also presented findings on law students, lawyering and grit at the Conference on Psychology and Lawyering early in 2014.
