Indiana Law Review Publishes Article on Judicial Diversity by Alumnus K.O. Myers

January 31, 2013

An article by K.O. Myers, a member of the law school’s inaugural class, appears in the current issue of the Indiana Law Review.

In “Merit Selection and Diversity on the Bench,” Myers explores the methods used in different states for selecting judges and their impact on promoting diversity within the judiciary. Myers concludes that promoting diversity within nominating commissions would encourage diversity on the bench.

Myers is the director of research and programs at the American Judicature Society, a non-partisan membership organization based in Des Moines, Iowa.  A member of the Class of 2009, he completed a concentration in Intellectual Property Law.
