Professor David S. Cohen discussed “The End of Men? A Socio-Economic Examination of Women’s Advances in Education, Employment and Family” at the Association of American Law Schools’ Annual Meeting in New Orleans on Jan. 4.
An expert on gender issues and the law, Cohen joined colleagues from St. Thomas University School of Law, the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law on the panel.
The AALS is an association of 176 schools, including the Earle Mack School of Law, which aims to improve the legal profession through legal education. The organization’s annual meeting constitutes the largest gathering of law faculty in the world. The theme of this year’s annual meeting was “Global Engagement and the Legal Academy.”
