Rising 3Ls Steer Service Project in North Philadelphia

July 24, 2012

Melissa Green and Lisa Krestynick spearheaded the transformation of a vacant lot into a garden and study area for students at the Cristo Rey School in North Philadelphia.

Green and Krestynick recruited a crew of volunteers from Conrad O’Brien, where the rising 3Ls are working as summer associates.  The volunteers cleared out and spruced up the vacant lot to serve students at the new school, which will open in August 2012.

Krestynick, wearing green in the photo, is editor-in-chief of the Drexel Law Review. Green, wearing white in the photo, is president of the Drexel Moot Court Board.

Conrad O'Brien, a partner in the law school's Co-op Program, is among the highest ranked law firms in Pennsylvania for commercial litigation.
