Two members of the law school’s Moot Court Board were named Best Oral Advocates and won the Best Combined Brief Score and Best Appellee Brief awards at the Regional Giles Sutherland Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition in Chicago on March 11-13.
The students, Teagan Henwood, of Philadelphia, and Christopher Ricciuti, of Huntingdon Valley, bested 26 other teams to win the awards.
They were among just eight teams to advance to a second round in the competition, which is sponsored by the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
This is the 38th year of the competition, named for a member of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit who was the most distinguished jurist in the field of patent law.
